Pałac Konopków Wieliczka

Pałac Konopków w Wieliczce to okazała budowla zbudowana pod koniec XVIII wieku przez braci Konopków. Początkowo był to dwupiętrowy pałac z elewacją skierowaną na zachód, z tarasem, dziedzińcem i zabudowaniami gospodarczymi.

Po zakupie przez władze austriackie, pałac stał się siedzibą dla urzędników kopalni, a później także miejską biblioteką publiczną. W latach powojennych budynek popadał w ruinę, jednak został on starannie odrestaurowany i przekształcony na oddział Instytutu Pamięci Narodowej.

W 2010 roku na elewacji pałacu umieszczono tablicę upamiętniającą prezesa IPN Janusza Kurtykę.
