Najbardziej na zachód wysunięty punkt Polski znajduje się na terenie gminy Cedynia, pomiędzy wsiami Stary Kostrzynek a Osinów Dolny, w obrębie Cedyńskiego Parku Krajobrazowego. Miejsce to jest najdalej położonym na zachód punktem granicy Polski. Leży ono w nurcie rzeki Odry, około 200 metrów na południowy zachód od pamiątkowego kamienia, który odsłonięto 26 czerwca 2016 roku podczas obchodów Błogosławieństwa Wody – Dni Cedyni. Oznaczenie tego punktu było inicjatywą Społecznego Komitetu Budowy Wyznacznika Najdalej Wysuniętego na Zachód Punktu RP.
