Muzeum Książąt Czartoryskich

Muzeum Książąt Czartoryskich, jedno z najstarszych muzeów w Polsce, jest oddziałem Muzeum Narodowego w Krakowie. Składa się z trzech budynków: Pałacu Czartoryskich przy ul. św. Jana 17-19, Klasztorka przy ul. Pijarskiej 6 oraz dawnego Arsenału Miejskiego przy ul. Pijarskiej 8. Powstało w 1878 roku, ale jego korzenie sięgają roku 1801, kiedy to księżna Izabela Czartoryska prezentowała swoje zbiory w puławskim muzeum.

Po II wojnie światowej muzeum było pod opieką Muzeum Narodowego w Krakowie, a od 1991 roku pieczę nad zbiorami przejęła Fundacja Książąt Czartoryskich. W 2016 roku Fundacja sprzedała Skarbowi Państwa całą kolekcję wraz z budynkami muzealnymi. Obecnie kolekcja książąt Czartoryskich jest integralną częścią Muzeum Narodowego w Krakowie.

Muzeum gromadzi dzieła malarstwa europejskiego XIII–XVIII w., rzemiosła artystycznego, grafiki, sztuki starożytnej oraz militaria. Jego najcenniejszym dziełem jest Dama z gronostajem autorstwa Leonarda da Vinci.
