Muzeum Kaszubskie im. Franciszka Tredera w Kartuzach, wpisane do Państwowego Rejestru Muzeów, zajmuje się dokumentowaniem i prezentacją kultury Kaszub i tamtejszej społeczności etnicznej. Dzięki staraniom Franciszka Tredera placówkę otwarto 1 maja 1947 roku. Znaczną rolę w jej powstaniu odegrało Towarzystwo Miłośników Muzeum Kaszubskiego im. dr. Aleksandra Majkowskiego. W zbiorach muzeum znajdują się cenne eksponaty etnograficzne i tradycyjne kaszubskie instrumenty, takie jak burczybas i diabelskie skrzypce.
