Muzeum Chwały Oręża Polskiego w Witnicy to prywatna placówka założona przez emerytowanego pułkownika Czesława Chmielewskiego, który podczas II wojny światowej służył w 15. pułku piechoty. Po ciężkim zranieniu w walkach pod Budziszynem został uznany za zmarłego, aż do momentu, gdy został uratowany przez radzieckich sanitariuszy. W latach 70. XX wieku, po przeczytaniu książki Kazimierza Kaczmarka, odkrył swoją rzekomą śmierć oraz nagrobek w Zgorzelcu. W hołdzie poległym postanowił stworzyć muzeum. Ekspozycja obejmuje zbiory związane z Wojskiem Polskim w latach 1919-1939, broń, mundury, dokumenty oraz oryginalne mundury powstańców warszawskich, a także armaty i działa przeciwlotnicze na terenie muzeum.
